15 early Week 1 college football best bets

That picture is a look at Stadium Swim in Las Vegas at the Circa Resort & Casino from March Madness this year, and probably resembles the excitement that you’re feeling now that the first full week of college football season is upon us.

My goals for this Substack are to provide quality sports betting content via myself and some handicappers and bookmakers in the industry — and help put a bunch of sharp picks in one place. I’m gathering bets from people I respect from text messages, calls, X, YouTube and other avenues and making them easily accessible for you behind the pay wall. I’ll also provide betting splits for the weekend’s games, if you want to use those in your handicapping as well.

As one bookmaker just told me on the phone, “Colorado is one of the more heavily bet games at some shops, but not here. We’ve taken some Colorado money, but no big decision to speak of at this point. Total has gone from 58.5 to 60.5, but out of the games tomorrow, we have a bigger decisions in the Minnesota-UNC game and several others.”
