Connor McDavid has showed up and shown out the past few games, and it’s been reflected in his odds for the Conn Smythe Award at sportsbooks. After Game 3, McDavid had 16-1 odds to win the award at DraftKings; following Game 5’s win, he was -150 and he’s up to a -275 favorite as of Friday morning.

There’s also one interesting parlay to follow, as earlier this year a bettor at BetMGM placed a $1,000 three-team parlay on:

• Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl (+650)

• Real Madrid to win UEFA Champions League (+550)

• Edmonton Oilers to win Stanley Cup (+1100)

A few days ago with Edmonton down 3-0, the wager looked dead in the water. He’s now two Oilers wins away from winning $584,000. Maybe time for a hedge …?
