Best MLB bets for Wednesday's games
DraftKings public betting info, plus best bets via THE BAT X projection system
There always seems to be something going on in the sports betting industry and there were two big news items from Tuesday:
A coalition of the professional sports teams in Missouri (backed financially by DraftKings and FanDuel) gathered enough signatures to get sports betting legalization approved as a ballot initiative in November in the state — so Missouri could be the first (and only) additional state to legalize sports betting in 2024.
DraftKings walked back its proposed gambling surcharge on winning bets in four high-tax states (New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Vermont) after several other operators — including Flutter on Tuesday afternoon — publicly stated that they wouldn’t institute a similar surcharge.
I hope you’ve been enjoying the daily baseball articles from Derek Carty and have been getting value from them before you place your wagers. They have a respected projection model (THE BAT X), which provides a ton of great info for bettors to consider before making daily MLB bets, and they’ve been releasing two plays a day for my subscribers.
Those recommended plays are 40-29 (+16.94 units) so far in my Substack, so you’ve been quite profitable if you’ve been betting them daily.
Be sure to check out all of their content here.
And if you’ve been enjoying the content, be sure to consider becoming a paid subscriber! Football season will provide the most value for the Substack, with weekly picks and content for all major sports for only $9.99/month (~30 cents a day). You’ll spend more than that on one Chipotle burrito, after all.
